The Department of Urology

 in Saint Joseph Hospital treats Patients with urinary tract infections, kidney and urinary tract stones, urinary incontinence, benign and malignant tumors of the kidney, bladder, prostate and testicles as well as erectile disorder.

As Kidney stone disease is a common disorder which affects 10%-15% of the general population, we perform the minimally invasive procedures using endoscopic instruments and surgical techniques (Ureteroscopy and Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy-PCNL) using a variety of instruments such as LASER with above 90% success rate depending on the size and shape of the stone(s). The Department also performs laparoscopic kidney and Adrenal Gland Surgeries for both benign and malignant tumors.
