The fundamental role of the Emergency Department is to provide comprehensive emergency medical care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This includes the rapid triage, assessment, stabilization, and treatment of patients across all age groups and clinical presentations. The department remains committed to upholding the highest standards of medical and nursing practice while maintaining the values of dignity, equity, and professionalism.

The ED team comprises experienced physicians, registered nurses, emergency nurse practitioners, and support staff with advanced training in emergency medicine. This diverse clinical team enables us to provide integrated, patient-centered care in even the most complex and time-sensitive situations.

A dedicated pediatrician is now available in the ED to provide specialized assessment and treatment for children presenting with urgent medical conditions.

A round-the-clock ultrasound service has been implemented, supported by a dedicated radiologist available on-site or on-call 24/7.
